Greetings Gentle Readers

The depths of winter are now fully upon us, and the re-enactment scene here in Australia is in full swing. This month we have introduced several new period games (along with restocks) including ‘The game with no Name’ and ‘Seega’, to help while away those long winter nights around the fire. For those more active by nature, a new dance CD ‘Trobyll me the bordon’ and dance step book from Gaita has been added to our range of music.

New book titles are continuing to arrive and will be going up on the site throughout the month. We will also be showcasing a range of smaller items including cosmetic tools, a new range of table linens and towels, and for the dark age connoisseurs’- reindeer pelts from Finland (with certification).

We look forward to once again attending the Abbey Stowe Museum Festival in Queensland. This is always a fabulous event and if you are attending please be sure to drop through and say hello. For those unable to attend, please be aware that responses and orders from Mainly Medieval will take a little longer to be fulfilled.

Finally, we wish everyone attending Abbey Stowe safe travels and a great event. Pre-orders delivery at Abbey Stowe Festival will be available from the front tent of our store on Friday afternoon between 2.00 – 5.00pm.

Until next time, we bid you all - good reading.

Paul, Elden, Loreena and Roxy - the Mainly Medieval Team
