Not that I know of... and I doubt it very much.

Unless this has been published or comes from GW I would say no, regular entry like everyone else.

Yeah that is usually a rule at other Games Days, well the 2 countries I have been to GD's at. The US and the UK. It is so that when the other general horde of people come in and look around, there are most of the GD entries already there for the public to look at. But again... There has been no word of it at Oz Games Day, and I find it weird if that was the case and it has not been advertised to anyone, via White Dwarf or the Web already.

I know last year there was a desk at the front of the line people could take demon entries to, and they would move them inside for you. No early entry into the event itself though, just drop them off so they had a lot setup on time. I'm guessing they will do it again this year.

Well, I will hold onto my entries and hand them in person then. The less touching by staffers the better.

you guys should check out the GD site again. I was reading it last week.

Its under the "2012 Australian & New Zealand Golden Demon Survival Guide" link
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... eMode=true

"
The Golden Demon competition opens at Australian Technology Park for entry logging at 9am, one hour before the main event opens its doors. To book in your entry you can either queue by the Golden Demon entrance, or enter through the...
...
Now your entry has been allocated a number, all that is left to do is to place your miniature on the appropriate category table.

From the booking-in area, move through to the main hall where you will find the individual categories designated by large, hard-to-miss signs atop the many glass cabinets and tables.

When you reach the appropriate table, hand over your miniature and the entry number part of the card to a staff member who will display the entry on the card.
...
Running repairs table... etc
"

I was there last year with my Armies on Parade entry - they let me in before opening to set up my display, then I had to exit and get in line to get in the regular way. I'm assuming it'll be the same thing again this year.

Who else will be there this year? I got my Armies on Parade entry through again, so I'll be there with it. :D Do OzPainters do some sorta GD get-together?

We usually get together at some point. I'm sure that there will be people around the painting desk where Kyle and Seb will be.

I think it came up last year we need a way to identify ourselves as there were a few people there that missed us.

As a short term solution, there are some photos of us form a few years ago here (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1801)

If we don't figure out an identify system by the day, you might want to keep an eye out for people from these pics, as at least a few of us from those photos will be there. Generally asking 'Are you from OzPainters?' or something like that should confirm if it's someone from here.

Oh, ad for some reason we hang around the Golden Demon area a fair bit. No idea why :P
