To travel anywhere in the country you need to go to a capital city, catch the damn transport (trains in my case) and then get to your destination that way. Thanks to the last few comments I remembered a horrible trip I made once, 25 hours to travel from Grafton to Wagga Wagga, change over from Sydney was only 20 minutes. I arrived home to be picked up by my Mum and taken house hunting, that day is a blank . It turns out I acted really odd that day too, I'm not good without sleep, it's rare I can sleep on trains.

Oh yeah and I hate those type of people who can fall asleep in really quickly, no matter where they are. That is just plain unfair.

I used to live in rural NSW, and traveling from Sydney to my home town for Christmas takes hours unless you go by plane.....if you like paying a grand two and from :(

My rants for today!

1.GW's fetish for skulls. ENOUGH GW, I'm tired of every terrain kit you sell being covered in skulls. You don't need skulls on a landing pad and you don't need a skull on EVERY panel of the Cities of Death kits!

2. Cold weather. It's making it hard for me to prime anything model or terrain wise lately. It sucks!

Dances are an important ingredient in painting for GD.

I'll accept that.

My rant today is that I've just discovered that my favourite pair of knitted "vegging" socks have developed a hole in the sole of one foot. It's a decent hole so now I have one toasty warm foot and one with a chilly patch!
Feeble rant I know but it peeved me greatly when I got home from work and into my "lounging about" attire.

But they are vegging socks... you can't put any work into them or it 'pollutes' the relaxed karma they have :D

Use the army solution - use stick tape on either side of the hole. That doesn't count as work, does it?

I think the "thick undersock" solution works best until such time as structural integrity fails completely. At that point I'll have to beg my sister in law's sister to make me some more :D

Brisbane puplic transport... FAIL! Every bus I have caught this month has been late, with the exception of one that was 10 mins early (and I missed it entirely). Me and the missus hopped on a bus from town last night which turned up late and the driver took a wrong turn in peak hour, resulting in a few missed stops and adding 15 mins onto the journey. To make up for lost time the driver was hard on the brakes and kept hitting gutters all the way home... which was really bad cause I had my modeling tool box with some of my partially completed GD models in it getting bashed around.

SNK

PS- @Angora - I once found a pair of vegging socks... they had a special sole stitched into the bottom, so they can be worn around the house 'hole free'. I think I got em at some camping show once, designed for people who wanna go outside their tent for a minute without putting shoes on. Pure genious!

I gave my 8 year old nephew a pair of moccasocks for his birthday (amongst other things). He feels the cold at night and wanted some warm PJs and bed socks. Anyway they were very thick in the sole and had dinosaur feet on top of them. You could get some of them Pete! ...although I'm not sure they make 'em in your size!

don't get me started on cold....
a wonderul (post?)pubescent rant about parental advice and attempts to discipline....

apparently according to my all knowing parental wisdom it is not acceptable to heat my room whilst studying at night as such my oh so wonderful stepfather expects me to pay for each "superfluous" kWh iam using, apparently iam also a good for nothing and an altogether asocial prick..... it's wonderful how parents care for you...... especially when they will not stop telling you that what you are doing is a waste of enery money and their nerves..... bloody hell..... and then they wonder why one does not perform according to their expectations.... and worst of all there is nothing i can do about it...... i mean **** me iam turning 21 this year and i still have to put up with this nonsense, will it ever stop? I need to get out of here.... and holidays haven't even started.... OMG this will suck..... maybe i should ask for extra shifts at work? another possibility is of course to lock my room's door and only to scuttle out at night in order to minimise parental contact..... :-P

jeez i feel better now

Move out. Easier said than done, I know, but it's the best solution. Well, make sure you got a job first :).

@arithon: which department? Also why do you recycle exam questions (as in word for word recycling, doesn't that kinda break the whole idea :-D)?

PS: i did feel a lot better after the previous rant though :-), thanks to symoneferk for thinking this up :-D
