Unfotunately painting a glowing blade

of light that's in a 2d media into a 3d medium in impossible. To be honest the studio paint jobs are very nice, the trick would be to get awesome glow effect on it to give the illusion of a glowing blade of pure light. Not an easy task. I'll be getting both of these as I love starwars and specially ki adi mundi

Hmmm. I vanish for a few days, and all the cool stuff gets posted without me having a chance to respond! Great work on these Seb! I have to say, the poses on both of them are pretty cool. I think with the amount of decent Star Wars minis around now, there have to be a few people planning diorama's or something for one of the painting comps.

Hehe thanks Nick!

ANd thanks to you other guys for the comments, too. It's pretty tricky to get a painted lightsabre to look like it's actually glowing, that's for sure...the best you can do is paint it very light and get a bit of coloured glow effect happening around it, but that is not always the easiest!

After your not so official "apprentice figure" it's great to see you got to do some real jedi work :)
