hey all, the next Hall of heroes meeting is on Sat 28 May. Hope you can all bring along your trees and minis to paint. Newcomers let me know, and I can bring along the tree making and basing material for you to start and catch up.

Mark of myself will bring in an airbrush and compressor to help speed up the base coats of the trees / bases.

Can you provide details, ie start time, requirements, etc. Your tree looks fantastic and would love to try one myself. What do I need to bring?

you will need some form of sculting tool, some greenstuff... a small set hobby pliers are good if you have them as well, superglue... Weisern has the wire and basing wood if I remember rightly.

If you have some super sculpey that would be sweet as well, I cant remember if we have any. Also a bit ot stick or bark to use as a texture stamp is usefull as well.

Weisern may have some more clarrificatoin but I think I have covered the most of it.

i'll be their with tree in hand did finish it right off didnt come out to bad but it needs crit from mark and weisern on things i can do better. will bring what im painting at this time as im stuk on colour's to use for the base HINT HINT mark

Start time is 10am and goes until when the store closes at 5pm.

I will bring wire, wood blocks, and super sculpey.

Just bring along greenstuff, superglue, some basic sculpting tools, pin vice and drill bits, a mini you have in mind to go on the base. Let me know if you lack any of these and I'll bring them along.

So. This weekend, Sat 28th, Hall of Heroes tree basing Cont.

There will be an airbrush there on the day to speed paint the trees/bases and the things that are mentioned above as well.

Dont forget to bring a mini that you want to put on the base as well as a few tools and materials to use to build your bases.

If you can reply here saying that you're coming out just so we can organise the matterials to bring that would be awesome. I don't really want to card 22kgs of stuff up if we only need 2kgs.

Unfortunately I have just looked at when my essays are due, and broken out into a cold sweat....

Going to have to give this one a miss I am afraid!
