Nothing has been planned. The monthly meetups are the last Saturday of the month, so it was the weekend just gone. You guys miss so much when I'm there unattended! I actually paint things!

It's to hard to paint with all those shiny minis around and people to talk to the only other people I talk to are tradies at work and they don't paint minis or like scifi or fantasy  they all think me weird........... when I don't know who won the footy on the weekend

Has anyone been to Tin Soldier Penrith?

Would anyone be willing to have a painting/meet up there next month, pre-GD? Or post GD for new projects, reflection, tutorials?

Yea TS Penrith is a great store and Rowan is a really nice guy.

I would definitely be keen to catch up there before GD

Due to my roster, I will be down after GD 19-24th Sept.

If you decide to meet there sooner, give Rowan a call. He sounds like a top bloke on the phone and Im sure he can accomodate a painting/hobby group.

If I miss out, I may just visit in my own time but it would be awesome to meet some of you for the first time.

A meetup after GD would be fine too! I have not spoken to Rowan in a while so it would be good to show him all the GD stuff

OK everyone, these are the next few hall of heroes meetups:

27 October
24 November
29 December

I'm going to start a calendar in the first page of the thread so it is a bit easier to reference, and will just add a quick note when events are coming up etc. At least this way people can see what is planned ahead etc.

I can't this weekend due to me already going to a walk for the cure event for Diabetes.... I should go support my own cure cause i guess, considering people have donated for it.

I think that we should look at doing another workshop like event at HoH some time in the near future. Maybe we should start getting some ideas as to what you guys would like to look at? Basing and composisiton maybe? as we have done colours and theory already, what about spot lighing for focus? I don't know, most of you will be quite adept at these things already and there is no doubt heaps of online material, but sometimes its good to see someone else do it up close, for a fresh outlook.
