Well a good day was had by the few that turned up.
Not as good a turn out as most other days we've had, but it was OK.
Peter brought along his WIP for GD and it's looking awesome, it'll be a real contender I think.
Jody brought along his sculpting works and I have to say I'm blown away with the new goblin stuff, just brilliant and I for one cannot wait until they are cast so I can get a set.
Nice to see a couple of new faces too, hope you boys can make it to the next few meetings.

I've been a bit crap at turning up to painting days lately. ...but then I haven't painted anything in months.

This time I have an excuse, at least. My wife had knee surgery a couple of weeks back and my hands are full with doing everything that she normally does as well all my own stuff, plus fetchng stuff for the immobile patient.

On the plus side, good progress is finally being made on my Bhutan coffee table books and I think I'm on the final push. In the middle of the maps at the moment... Which means that I might be able to paint something again soon(ish).

Hope you had a good day anyway!

Sounds like you need a fin-longer

I didn't actually bring anything along, but was good to catch up with the "old faces" and meet some new. :)

Next meet, before or after the Golden Demon cut off? Could be interesting to see everyone working on their entries frantically in a meet :P - bit of dedicated painting time to finish them off with last minute advice and all too...

Whatever, I'll bring along something to paint next time, getting back into it after a little hiatus form hobby due to life getting in the way again!

I'll second Jody's sculpting, amazing, sexy, gorgeous goblin work, definitely keen to pick some up once cast!

I'm also another keen on that nice dual of Peter's, it'll be a contender for sure, will be great to see it all come together!

Part of me would like a smaller pre GD catch up, even if it is to compare notes and maybe get some tips improving minis. Team Victoria if you will.

Well, I'll go, given that it's something I myself would like.

Perhaps we could just arrange to meet up in Games Workshop or something if it's not enough time for our usual sort of arrangement, the guys in there would rather like to see a bunch of entries in progress anyway.

Pencil in a catch up at a store (dependent on pulling finger out and having something ready.

Anyone sending entries up to MOAB this year?
