seriously, i dont think there are any south aussies on this forum, if there are i havent noticed them, because i would like to meet up with some of you guys as i think it would be interesting and fun.

All i hear was "how was so and so at sydney or melbourne" etc... sigh...

Hey there Kojak, well there is at least one other south aussie that i know of that`s on the forums and that`s me :) although i do think there are a few others .
I don`t live in Adelaide though sorry i live in Whyalla, however i will be visiting there once a month for a short while to pick my 3yr old daughter up to spend some time with me back here .
If you have the time spare and are able to meet in the city at around lunch time or early afternoon as i will be catching a Stateliner bus there and back i would be happy to catch up and say hello in person sometime.

Simon

Vic Lamb is an SA based painter/sculptor, but I believe she's not in the country presently, and I seem to remember Arjay (Russell) saying something about having moved there a few years ago. However he seems to have really dropped off the radar (website doesn't seem to be up anymore), so he might not be around anymore in a painting sense..

hey shgrey how are you? i'm also a local living down in pooraka, although i work a 4 week on 1 week off roster up in roxby downs so i'm a bit difficult to get a hold of. however ben squig is the manager down at games workshop at tea tree plaza and a good person to speak to if you want to improve your skills. bit of a drive though. are you aware of the hobby shop in hallet cove owned by brownie? also a good person to speak to. hope this helps as i have also noticed an abscense of sa painters here.

Im a regular at nathan browns shop (gamers guild), which is down at christies baach actually, unless theres another brownie with another game shop on the far side of Hallett cove?
and tea tree plaza is probably a bit far, especially without a car...
i can usually be caught down at the gamers guild on most weekends and thursdays.

ummm......

Hi Kojak,
I thought i'd post seeing as i wander over to this forum occasionally.
I live in Happy Valley and game at AGA (downstairs at Military Hobbies) most sundays, although i havent touched a Games Workshop game, except for bloodbowl, in a while. Currently I'm amassing zombies, darkest africa and 1/72 vietnam forces and attempting to sculpt a bit.

Anyways, if your interested, any sunday your free your more than welcome to come in for a game, theres usually a pretty wide variety happening.

Cheers,
Sam

oh, and im 18 too

good to see there are some south aussies around my age aswell as at places i can get to pretty easily via bus.

though my life is hanging just above the crapper on a ever-weaking string, when my things get in order i'll defenitly start catching up with you guys.

Im also eager to see those zombies BlackStatic! ive seen a horde of 300 GW zombies before and i was quite impressed by that.

Sadly, i've only completed one box of the Wargames Factory zombies, i have another here still on the sprues, but with so many projects and so little time they probably won't get done until interest picks back up at the club.

Did some very fast paintjobs on these blokes, they are just zombies after all.

Good luck with your problems, life has a way of sorting things out by itself.
