These titans are well detailed, but i've never seen one painted and said "wow thats a good paint job on that beast". They seen to suffer from large areas of flat panels that only get a single colour with no shading, but i guess as gaming pieces i cant really complain. It'd be nice to see one get the attention that large scale military modelers give to their large peices though and do the model some justice.

True - Allthough I´ve seen quite a few warhounds painted by "good" painters they have been painted in ´eavy metal tradition which doesn´t really lend itself to these monsters.

The only exception I´ve seen is the one painted by the forgeworld staff which is in the pages of their "modelling Masterclass" book (it´s not the warhound in their webshop).


But when I paint my chaos warhound - which I still have sitting in a bag on my desk - I plan to go to town with oils, pigments, sponges and airbrush :)
