For those that are on the net and use facebook, some of the eavy metal team are running an online themed painting comp for March.
You would just have to find and join the Eavy Metal group on facebook to take part i think.

Subject: Painting comp, March
OK people, we've decided that the first ever 'eavy metal painting competition is going to be held 1-31st of March 2008. That means that the first pictures can be submitted from the 1st, and the deadline is the 31st.
The theme this time is "psychic powers and magic", and it's very simple. Just choose any GW figure, from any system, that is a magician, wizard, has psychic powers etc., and paint it up as good as you can. The winner is chosen by the 'eavy metal team.
We'll give out an email adress to which you can submit the pictures, and we'll host them on a photobucket account. Sadly we can't host them directly on facebook (yet anyway), but if you want to put them up on your own pages, or on other websites, feel free to do so. The winner, however, will be included in the 'eavy metal gallery in this group.
As for price, at the moment it's pure bragging rights, but we are in discussions about a possible physical price as well.
