Oz Painters

I know there has been some discussion of travelling for painting comps recently. I also know that last year at Demons and MOAB there were a few people who had stayed in hotels etc when there were other who would have happily have people stay with them. I thought it might be worth pointing out to people that if you are travelling to a painting comp, it might be worth asking here if anyone has a place you can crash at. That way people might be able to afford the trip a bit easier, and if a local is travelling to the event they can tag along, so there is less chance from people outside that area getting lost on the way.

I'm not saying "Hey, everyone live off the kindness of strangers and expect a fellow painter to open their doors to you" or "you're guaranteed to find someone to stay with", but it would be worth asking in case there is that option available.

Last year I'd happily put up with some of you lovely folks - and I did! - but this year, I've got a kid, so staying with me is now out.

I've got two spare beds
