I was at Tins tonight to play some Warmachine and pimping the Oz Painters forum (I posted up some flyers). I spoke to the store guys about us having some open painting days regularly there. They welcomed the idea and said Saturday arvos are usually pretty empty (the FOW guys play there in the evenings apparently). Soooo who's interested in say a regular monthly painting/sculpting day/class?

That sounds good - perhaps this should be in the Sydney painters subforum, there's nothing there yet!

A very good Idea! Altough I'm not such a fan of Tin Soldier, I'll put up with it for some quality Painting time. :D

Keep us informed.

Well we'll drag you round to Redwarf's place sometime Kyle, that's where we previously did all our paint meetups. Speaking of which, why is Redwarf not on this forums. I must contact him...

My main reason for suggesting Tins is 1. it has tables and a is encouraging club events, 2. It doesn't have bad heavy metal music constantly being pumped through the store  , 3. It's a good place for people to come to learn stuff (not sure Paul wants random people wandering into his house) and they carry Valejo paints and Rackham minis

hey guys I really don't have a problem with Tin Soldier. I think my comment was just sort of taken out of context. I really couldnt care where the club will be held, as long I as i get to paint!

And yes the music is getting bad, but its not my fault  I dont get to choose it. :D

I will be in Melbourne that weekend!

What about the weekend before? That way we can all meet each other before the demons weekend (I think Sebastian is free then as well).
