There are quite a few other pics and comments about now as well

The number of entries was lower than the large full cabinets you used to get at the NEC, but a lot of that is the limit on tickets and lack of bus loads of kids for all the GW stores, so the number of quality entries wasn't really impacted. Although as a result the number of entries that were selected for first cut was a bit lower, so that was tougher this year.

The room had windows (HERESY !!) so the lighting was improved, and it was also much easier to find painters to talk to just because the number of people was lower.

As for things to do. I enjoyed one of the Forge World seminars, nothing really shocking to reveal (More Horus Heresy stuff !!) but it was very well presented and good fun. I had a chat with David and he mentioned that he had sat in on 2 or 3 of the demo pods and that they were quite good as well. So definitely a few things to do. And overall it just seemed far more relaxed than previous GDUK events I'd been to.

Congrats Conrad!!! Seems like that Demon drought all those years ago has well and truely broken. Love the entry mate! Classic PrawnPower style!

And I hope that Warhammer Fest continues. it would be such a shame if GD died all together. So glad it seems like it was a success.... and also glad to hear there is the usual controversy with awards! hahaha

Ps, for everyone. I have updated all the Sword winners from the last couple of years in the other, 'World Wide Golden Demon Winners' thread.
