Hi All! Golden Barry is coming to Arc40K again next year, with a few changes...

Read all about it here: http://arc40k.com/golden-barry-2014-3/

Updates will be coming soon, a Facebook page will showcase previous entries and works from guest tutors...

Hi mate,
Was just wondering if entry is the same as last year? Are entries and Judging both going to be on Sunday? Also, are 1/35 scale vehicles allowed to be entered as they are not from a gaming type as such?

Starting to get excited, as I have nearly finished my entry.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I have mine done - just hoping to add two more models to the squad before the day.

Still at the half way mark on both of my entries might have to pull my finger out over the long weekend to get them done. But in other news picked the new fittings for my new airbrush so thats now a go a.

Firstly, I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and added a satisfying swag of metal, resin or plastic goodies to their collection of unpainted toys.

Secondly, I realise that a lot of activity happens on the Facebook Page these days which doesn't come across to the poor old forum. So, for those of us who aren't on Facebook due to ideological reasons or pure Ludditic stubborness (I suspect the latter in my case), is anyone aware of whether the Golden Barry will reappears in 2015? Can anyone point me to information on categories?

Thanking you all and have a happy and safe New Year.

Hey Bevan, firstly Christmas has been totally awesome this year, we've had a brilliant time, hope yours was just as good?
Secondly hope the family is well?
Thirdly I have to admit that I have finally succumbed to the Facebook "thing", not something I'm particularly proud of, but something that I'm finding to be useful if nothing else. It's definitely a better way to keep in touch with the OzPainters crowd and also the Twisted progress.
Your choice mate.
All the very best for your family for the fast approaching New Year.

hi Tony, had a great one here. A happy daughter, and I got some cool Lego.

Sorry to hear you cracked. I've just seen too much stuff cross my desk from other people's Facebook pages. Also seen far too many friends risk their jobs ignoring company policy. Came to a conclusion I'd rather not take part.

Still I live vicariously through others (don't tell Tess, she'll cut me off)

Understand mate, but you only put in what you want, for me it's more about keeping up with Pete and Mat and everyone else, not really interested in the other stuff.

Ehh I really need to get my arse into gear about promoting Barry for this year..

YES Barry is running.
YES we'll have painting tables

The categories will remain largely the same as for last year, these will have to go up over the weekend, just have to organise a few things with the other Arc40k guys.

I'd love to see a strong showing from the OzPainters crowd, so I'll get some promo stuff going this weekend.
