Pre-Register and you'll go in the draw to win the brushes, these are around $60 in value so definitely worth pre-registering!

Brushes are a bit too small to be practical for me, but that's a good idea for gauging the interest in the comp :)

Really? I use a 0 for basically everything, only going to the 00 occasionally for really fine work, but a 1 is pushing into a bit too big for my tastes. It's interesting how different painter's styles vary so much that even the tools don't remain the same!

Gives us an idea on numbers on one hand and banks rolls the expenses of running the comp in the other... Very useful as we otherwise are dipping into our own pockets for some not insignificant costs here.

A good bigger size brush 1 - 2 size usually has a better tip than smaller brushes. I've a lot of near perfect smaller brushes simply cause I don't use them as much.

It's still an excellent prize for a competition. :D

Well... not actually bought yet... How'd you feel about a 0 and 1?

Just get what you have said you are going to supply as the prize and be done with it. If you listen to everyone's opinion you won't end up getting anything or you'll be second guessing yourself each year when it comes time to decide on a prize. If people don't like the prize they can give it to someone else or sell it, no big deal.

Don't change them mate. Just get what is said. For most painters they will be fine. Brushes are something that vary between painter to painter, I like larger brushes for my style of painting others smaller. It's not a big deal :)
