Ok here's my guy in red. A grizzly old Champion of Khorne from 1988. I'm only slightly older than it by a whole year

I wanted to paint him as an old man.

Red was done by basecoating with Sanguine Base and highlighting up with Skorne Red and when that was pure Skorne Red consecutively adding more and more light flesh tone, till that was also pure. At this stage it was too pinkish, so I glazed with the P3 red ink. Shadows were then revisited and darkened with dark blues, blacks and purple. It was very shiny after all of that so it was attacked with Humbrol Matt Varnish which killed the shine. Still shiny but you should have seen it before.

I'm new here, and I know this is after the deadline, but I thought these challenges might be a good way for me to paint more regularly so here's my progress so far. I still need to do some shading on the scythe and lantern-object and I'm going to try my hand at OSL for the first time, but this is where I got up to last night.

I had some tech problems earlier, which has delayed the voting. So Rustkill, you still got in :)

Voting thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5385

Thank for entering everyone! It's been cool to see what people were painting, especially all the old Chaos Warriors that have come out of the woodwork :D

Who's up for painting something black?

Jason just pointed out in pm that I missed his entries from earlier in the thread.

Then I realised I missed angoras.

Apologies to all. I've edited the poll so votes can be changed if needed.

Tar-Emmetar, I've included yours as well in the update.
