So here we go with the first challenge, everyone! Hopefully we have a few people join in, and everyone has fun!

Painting Black
Paint any model, but have a reasonably obvious area painted the colour black.

Hmmm this is an interesting one. I'll need to rummage through my collection and see what will suit something black....

Good job on getting this up and running.

I already know what my mini for this one is. The choice is just a tad tongue-in-cheek.

You have a typo I assume...

Painting Black
Paint any model, but have a reasonably obvious area painted the colour red.

But I'm happy to work with that constraint.

It's been a long time since I visited. Can I post up something I did some time ago, or does this need to be a wholly new piece?

Pottering along. Once I finish the armour it's just weapons, straps and base. And if all goes to hell I've been painting BB Dark Elves, so I've a backup black.

Pink... not if I can help it.

This is as far as I got. Jetlag is still hitting me hard.

Black was a base of RMS pure black, brilliant blue, and blackened brown. Shaded by adding pure black, and highlighted by adding splintered bone.

I'm going to leave this post open for another 24 hours or so to see if we get more people entering. Otherwise I'll close it and dig into the vault of ideas for challenge 4.
