This months challenge was selected by loup_garouis.

Put simply, paint something gross and slimy.

An explanation of the OzPainters Challenges can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5369

Pictures of completed models and any description you want to add to them should be added to this thread by 12.01 am 20/1/2016.

Uhu glue, wet effects (shown in wip thread), Water Effects from Woodland Scenics, microbeads, clear green.

Tiny little tester for a horribleness.

Hahaha. Awesome. I haven't been able to finish mine, which sucks. Real life is being stupid to me at the moment.

Want to pick the next category? I really want to do one of these properly, but I need to get my head sorted out.

I've no concrete idea for the next challenge. Wouldn't mind people's ideas on this one.

1. Monstrous skintone
2. Nature
3. Found object used
4. ?
5. ?

Then maybe a vote, really depends on how many people want to get involved. Failing that I've got 1d3 I could roll.

Ok I've thought of some other challenge ideas.

1. hard cell shading (think comic book style)
2. paint a miniature you've had on stand-by or in-progress for an age or two. Everyone has one.
3. Madness (just try and portray madness with paint, conversions, etc).

Still up for other peoples ideas on this one.

Hmm. Why not all of them? Entrants get to pick?

Hey it's your challenge comp. I'm all for it either way.

I'm not sure I've got ideas for several choices a time. At least not ongoing. Idea well is bound to run dry after a while.

Saying that here's some more:

1. Monochromatic
2. Concept/idea taken from a song, or if you're into them a concept album.
3. Lucky dip (close eyes rummage in mini storage, pull out mini, paint it).
4. D&D character (have someone create one, without looking at your collection. And convert as needed and paint).
5. Have a small child pick your colours. Then somehow get your paints back intact and paint mini.
6. Just scenery (hide the miniature in it if you need to).
7. Paint in the style of (insert favourite painter, it need not be a miniature painter).
8. Twisted miniature (I'm sure most of us have at least one mini that needs some paint).
9. NMM (semi-traditional technique we haven't touched on).
10. Strong chiaroscuro.

Or you could combine several if you're game.

Let's do the first three this time. I can refer to you list if needed in the future. I like the one about a kid picking the colours though.
