For anyone who hasn’t seen this before, a description of the OzPainters Challenges can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5369

This challenge is…

Paint a Twisted Model
Paint any model from the Twisted range.

If you haven’t seen the Kickstarter they are running at the moment, you can view it at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/18 ... tures-game. If you want to see the range they have available now, it can be viewed at http://www.dementedgames.com/collection ... collection.

To see what some people have done with them in the past:

Entries are due by March 31st at 11:59pm (NSW time). Voting will commence the next day and be open for two weeks. To enter, post an image (or images) in this thread, as well as a brief description about working on the model, like the look you were aiming for or techniques you used. If you use CMON or Putty and Paint, feel free to include a link to your post on there in the description as well. If you win the vote, you get to pick the topic for Challenge 10.

So, a few things to point out about this round:

This is running for longer than usual. This round is slightly extended as people are getting back from relaxing from the end of year and things like Cancon. However after this, the rounds will be shifting to two month rounds. People can have more time to work on their entries that way.
This will be slightly backdated as well. Lots of people picked up Twisted minis at CanCon and started working on them straight away. So this is open to any model you have painted between CanCon 2016 and the end date. This requires people to be honest about when they painted the model, but we’ll trust people on that one. After all, you’re competing to pick the topic for one of the challenges. There isn’t money on the line.

I really like my paving stones... And the alien glowing moss, honestly used reference pics, moss just gets that colour in Europe.

Just getting in early so I don't forget. Now all you others get to work!

Nice one! This is far as I got, sadly...

I'm hoping, *hoping*, that I can get further in the next challenge. The last few months have been a paint in the neck time wise, but hopefully by this time next month I will have at least an afternoon to work on stuff and get it painted. I have 0% motivation at the moment, and will happily dump life in the gutter to go back to painting :D

Thanks Peter. I wanted a very different version, so hence the desaturated clothing and black skin. She wasn't working for me until I did the skin. After that I loved her. :D

Base sort of turned out like an explosion in a paint factory. But I like that too in a way.
