(I think this is the right place to post this)

Quoted from Jeremie:

"Hello,
I'm here to talk about an inter-community miniature project that started in 2003. Since some time now, the project
has united some of the great names of fantasy and historical miniature painting to paint one mini : a 25cm giant.

Sculptors, painters, Europeans, Americans, Asians, Africans, and Oceanians, professionals as well as amateurs ...
some of the best brushes of each country, professionals of the big brands, winners of popular contests, and people
active in painting communities, which makes up more than 230 people (since October 2007) who have participated on
this mini since 2003.

You might think that this is a crazy project? Well, you're completely right! To this day,
October 2007, the project is nearing it's end, but I'm still searching for new painters! If you're motivated to work
on it, please contact me at jbonamant@yahoo.fr.

There's no need to spend too much time on it, paint or sculpt a
small detail will be more than enough! The aim is to united as many people of all horizons as possible. A bag, a
shield, a small animal, cloth ...anything that can easily be attached to the existing piece is welcomed.

Here's a
sneak piece. The final version will be showed at the 2008 World Expo.

There are no guide lines.
You are free to do what you think is fitting (conversions, colors, ...) as long as it

doesn't cause problems to build it back up.
It would be easier for everybody if the different pieces where exchanged on the spot (instead of by mail).

I'll be
at the following events :
Gérone 2007 (Spain)
Blagnac 2007 (France)
Montrouge 2008 (France)
Lugdunum 2008 (France)
Games Day Spain 2008
Games Day France 2008
Gencon France 2008

If snail-mail is easier, here is my address :
Jérémie Bonamant Teboul
8, rue des marronniers
69002 Lyon

What will become of this mini? All the people taking part offer their free time. There is no cash in this. This
piece will never be sold. I'll never use it in any money aim. Once the mini finished it will be showed in different
conventions around the world.
Feel free to spread the word.

Cheers,
Jérémie Bonamant Teboul jbonamant@@yahoo.fr"

Anybody going to do anything? I know Seb did something for it at Paris, and i'm going to paint up one or two little bits and send them down.

Hahaha, the giant over the world! I love the idea. I saw it at ravage, it is a very interesting model, you can tell the different styles in it.

Anyways, Matty, those pics are a little old, as you may or may not know our very own Oz Painting Demi-God, Sebastian, painted a bit of it. He painted the right shoulder pad, I now has a green and gold Southern Cross on it! with scratches and chipping on it. I think I posted the pics here of it:

Well will be good to see the end result. I know that the Head is a combined effort between Degra and Cheeba, so that will be cool to look out for.
