Hi all,
I figured i should post some pictures here, even though they were posted in another thread, but i will put up some shots with the CMON links, and also using the photos from the results thread, as they are, well, better than i could hope to do
Anyway, i had heaps of fun on the day, and am hoping that with the feedback and what i learnt on the day, i can do a bit better next year.

40K Medium - Orc Warboss

I'm pretty happy with him, but i think that one the back with the similar colours between the checks and the tails, my eyes seem to go in about 5 different directions.
LOTR Single - Uruk-Hai Captain

This guy was painted as a last minute decision. I wasn't willing to do something like Gandalf, and hadn't seen many Uruk-Hai in the past few years finals that i could think of, so thought i would give this a shot. It was pretty fun, but i did get annoyed at the olours for the leather and hair, as this didn't seem right to me. At the end, i found out i should have probably pushed the highlights a bit lighter to give it a better appearance. It makes sense, but i think my main fear was making it too bright as well. Anyway, more info i will need to learn from next year...
