Australian Golden Demon 2011 Photos [Big] -

DISCLAIMER: (Similar to last year) If your miniature doesn't appear here, I apologise, I either missed photographing it or the photograph was too poor to do it justice. Also the photos are the best I could manage shooting under the lighting conditions and the crab like shuffle done on my knees. I've attempted to capture an angle that excludes other miniatures where possible while working with the limitations described.

Also, there was no screen showing the winning entrants, so if I have messed up on the winners or anything else, just send me a private message and I'll update the post.

Hey RALPH,

Just joined the forum. These Stormbosses were my entry for Open, and I'm really glad you like them! My main thought when doing these guys was to try and put as much detail as possible into them, so that the judges wouldn't want to put them down. I could post some pre and post painted images if people are interested...

Yes please. I'd like to see some pre and post paint pics of these guys. It was so hard trying to view minis on the day as the lighting was so poor...

For the reflective aviators on the warboss I used a rounded piece of chrome-plated plastic (I don't know what it was, but it had a rounded surface so was ideal for lenses). Then I cut them into tiny lense shapes, attached them to the face and sculpted the frames. I masked them before spraying, obviously
