Hi everyone!

In the way of a small glitch, we seem to have misplaced the forms noting the names of everyone who won over the weekend. Fear not, they will be packaged in with all the MOAB goodness, but I know a few people are getting impatient about the results. So I'm going to go through and gather up the details that I have now, and will come back round once the list is complete and tidy this post up. Photos will be up at some point as well, but everyone involved with the admin side of things is still rushing around at the moment!

Special thanks though to Mark (agent_venom) who helped with the judging when the time came, and also ran painting demos for three days. There were several times when I looked over from where I was and realised that a crowd had formed around the table to watch him paint something (It's a shame I didn't think to take a photo). His efforts have sparked a few ideas for things that could be done in the future as well.

Anyway! Results!

Fantasy/Steampunk/Historical Single Miniature
1 - Jason Ford - Wizard
2 - Peter Overton - David De La Vega
3 - Nick Bate - Troll Fell Caller

Fantasy/Steampunk/Historical Large Model
1 - Mat Goldberg - Rat Ogre
2 - Chris Tart - Warhog
3 - Chris Ashton-Jones - Arachnarok Spider

Fantasy/Steampunk/Historical Unit
1 - Robert Sakaluk - Wild West Crew
2 - Nick Bate - McMourning Crew
3 - Jane Chellew - Fur of the East

Sci-Fi/Modern Single Miniature
1 - Nick Bate - Morat Daturazi Witch Soldier
2 - Robert Sakaluk - Mob Boss
3 - Chris Tart - Duroc

Sci-Fi/Modern Large Model
1 - Jason Ford - Ork
2 - Robert Sakaluk - Mecha-Spider
3 - Robert Reimews - Trygon/Marine Duel

Sci-Fi/Modern Unit
1 - Robert Sakaluk - Hoffman Crew
2 - Nick Bate - Warmachine Mercs
3 - Andrew Medbury - Three Doctors (Also won Best Tournament Entry)

I'll update the details when I get the paperwork. It was a great turn out for entries this year, and I'm looking forward (and already planning) to see what happens next year.

Details are all updated! When we get some photos sorted those will be posted as well. For anyone interested, we had 13 entrants, including 4 from the tournaments being played, and a total of 30 entries.

4th for Fantasy Unit & Single... SO CLOSE!

I actually think this is the first serious painting comp I've entered (the little Gobbo was done mostly as a tribute, but to enter as an event piece) so interesting to have come so far. And of course, grats to the winners :D

(Especially Dr Nick B. I'll have to give him another game soon!)

Looks awesome guys!
We'll have to organise more of us from Melbourne posting a few entries up next year.
