I believe they held the Victorian Conflict yesterday (15th). I was just wondering if any of us on this forum entered the painting comp? I'm not even sure there was a painting comp this year as the advertising seems to have focused on the tournament side of the event.

Anyway, if you did enter it would be nice to see some pictures of your entries (in the photos and results section) and or some info on who won etc.

I don't think GW will post the painting comp results online or in white dwarf based on the fact that they didn't last year.

Thanks for that Angora. Although it was nice to have more than one painting comp per year I dont think that it will be missed to much considering the new format of the Golden Demons.

It wasn't a great loss although it was a fun day last year. Kinda got my 'juices' flowing for the Demons. I'm having some trouble getting started this year - too many Confrontation models to paint
I'm going to try and make a start later this week... or maybe next week :D

I had fun last year too although it was a bit boring for the 3 or 4 hours between hand-in time and the awards ceremony. There's only so many times that one can check out the other miniatures and play in the participation games.

As for GD entries. I'm lucky in the sense that I was inspired in the weeks following GD06 with all the online images of the minis. Cmon has also been a big inspiration this year.

Hopefully I'll see you and your mini(s) in Melbourne at the regionals.

Bit of a necropost here, sorry for that!

Just saying yeah, I went to the last Conflict! Was fun :) Also my first tournament ever.

Have no idea how I managed to steal best painted though - I thought there were other armies much better than mine.
