Oz Painters

It seems a good opportunity for us to get together at someone's place, maybe have a bbq and stuff and chat about miniatures and do some painting (outside of the GD Painters Table, Golden Camel and Painter's Choice).

So I was wondering who is coming to Sydney, and what days you have free. I can probably work some time off to try and show you guys around (in my new car ).

On a side note, I will be going to Melbourne in the following week (17th November) and wouldn't mind catching up with Melbourne painters then as well. I'll most likely be staying in the CBD area.

I won't be in Sydney unfortunately... maybe next year.
It'd be cool to catch up if you pop down I work just out of the CBD so it's no drama to nip in & say gudday.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it this year. From all the things that are happening this year, if they happen again nexct year I'll be very keen. Having a whole weekend of painty goodness to look forward to is a lot more likely to get me organised than simply hanging out at GW waiting for the results.

myself and weisern are going to be there, getting there fri nyte and leaving sun nyte. im sure we can catch up on the weekend.

I'm getting into sydney at 8am so I'll be hanging around for quite a while possibly sampling the fine cuisine that Parramatta has to offer (Mcdonalds?)

Me, Benji and Luis are all getting there at 10pm friday night. We'll have some time on sunday to go around places (Tin Soldiers), our flight leaves at 1pm on Sunday. Oh yeh we'll be at the GD and GC.

How about we organise a shopping tour on Sunday then? We can meet somewhere like Town Hall station and go from there?

Except some of you have to leave in the middle of Sunday Well I'm sure we can sort something out!

That sounds pretty good. Aslong as we leave in the morning. We'll have to be at the airport at 12:00. So we have like 3 hours.

We can confirm Sunday details during the Saturday I think.

BTW - anyone have a hard time finding accomodation in Sydney for the GD weekend?
I just booked my accomodation for Melbourne for the weekend after, and it was quite hard to find a place that had the weekend available because U2 have their concerts on the Friday and Saturday night! Oh well... found a place on Lonsdale St. So nice and central and hopefully be able to easily catch up with people!
