It's an awesome sculpt.

I will be picking up one for myself and one for a friend on these forums.

Just received mine and am very happy with the sculpt. One issue I have though is with the gun. It is bent towards the end and very flexible. Hopefully a bit of hot water will fix this. Is this something that is common with the sculpt?

Hiya,

Allan and I packed the figures by hand, and as far as we know there were no issues. However, in saying that, we're happy to try and help if at all possible, so if it can't be "repaired" let me know and I'll see what can be done for you!

Cheers,
Mark

Let me know if you can't get in contact with Allan, and I'll send you his email address, ok?

You shouldn't have to wait so long! Maybe you should double check or confirm your mailing address when you get in touch with Allan, yeah?

Yeah, I figured that out now (I was away for a bit). I've sent Allan a message via WAU, I'm sure he'll shed some light on the matter.

There's actually a thread on WAU where other people have raised some issues about not receiving Dorothy minis, etc., and Allan or Mark have been replying there - so you could check that out too: http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=115382&pid=1649986&st=0&#entry1649986

If you could that would be great. Haven't had a response to my initial PM so I'd like to follow this up directly.

Apparently, if you missed out on AUSCON, you can now order this Limited Edition mini from CMoN:

I was under the impression that it was limited edition, to be sold at the event only, and limited to like 250 casts?

Ok. :)

Then it was sold to other people outside of the event, that were not able to make it to the event or really wanted a copy and were not from Oz.

Um. Ok I guess... :| Sort of dilutes the value of the mini, being able to be sold not solely at the event.

Now CMON has if I read correctly 120 casts... How is this Limited Edition anymore? I find it hard to believe that the only 130 were sold prior to and at the Auscon event. So these must be a new batch, yeah? That makes the miniature not a limited edition in my eyes.

I would love an explination on this one, as I just bought a miniature under the impression that it was limited edition, and seems like it is not actually the case? :? I only buy minis, with the hope to one day paint them, so I dont really care for the collection or rarity value, but it is misleading to state that it is limited, when it looks like more have been cast for the CMON shop.....
