Yes, the best of luck Seb, the weight of a nation rests on your shoulders  But seriously, I can't think of another Aussie painter who could represent us better in the states on the world stage.

Go, Seb!

Knock them all down. If someone gets in the way, PM me, and I'll get some mates to sort them out :) - they can't compete if they're all blind drunk at the pub :).

Looking forward to this. I'm keen to see what gets entered this year, as well as what Seb has been working on. Here's hoping he does well!

Yes good luck Seb!!! Looks like a it will be a good competition. I saw on the ST forums that JMPN and Diego are going, and I then there are all those peopel who won a 'golden ticket' so to speak from the painting competitions around the world.

Good luck and safe travels Seb! I wish I could go since my drive time is probably shorter than one of your flight lay overs. It was doomed once the event hotel filled up in November since it'd be too difficult with a three month old going back and forth so much. Maybe next year when Eli's older...

At least I can vote. :)

Registration should be open, right? Can anyone see where? I can't find anything on the site.

Hi guys, thanks so much for all the kind words and well wishes, I really apreciate it! Having a great time so far, meeting lots of cool people :)

As far as the painting comp goes: when I was at the table entering my figure, Jose (jmpn) walked in with the most incredible figure I've ever seen! Gotta be the winner, contest is over! haha...seriously though, it's amazing, and Diego's figures are fantastic too. So there is some very serious competition this year!

Thanks again for all the kind words, I'll try to keep you updated :)

I'll accept that.

Some really nice entries! JMPN's entry is, like Seb said truely amazing! But the Alice is awesome too! And I love the chaotic nature of the Minotaur and Yarry. If I hazard a guess even at these early stages, those will be the top 3.
