 Post subject: Golden Demon Japan 2012

The first Golden Demon in Japan has taken place. No doubt the GW site will have some pictures and info on it in the future. But for now here are a few pictures and information from a Japanese Wargaming forum

They have some really nice entries there. I follow Hugo (The guy that got the 3rd in 40K single and 1st in vehicle) on twitter, and he has been working on the vehicle for a while. I'm glad to see that it paid off for him.

The slayer sword is um... paper???

Yep, due to the laws in Japan, they can't give anyone a sword. So the deal was apparently that the winner would get a sword with their name engraved kept at GW Nottingham, and they can visit it whenever they like, or get the sword sent somewhere outside Japan if they have and address there. The winner is from Germany from what I here, so he can still get the sword, but they have him posing with the copy for the photos.
