The first image has been reduced in size by photobucket. The inset picture isnt 1:1 scale as I intended. The ribbons on her thigh have a tiny bit of freehand but the photos have made it vanish.

This is one very very nice figure.
Nice strong colours and smooth transitions. Your bleding-fu is much better than mine haha. The base sets it off nicely with the sludge and stone. I really like the head/facemask, gives it a skull like niceness.

Think ill go back to looking at the mini now and stop my blather.

Couldn't see the freehand in the cabinets either, can just make it out here.
Preferred this to the Tau, it was my pic for the slayer sword...

Automaton: those painted pics on the (Heroquest) box were awesome! I looked at them as virtually an unattainable goal in painting, haha...

hey Luke, congratulations on the gold! Another one for your collection ;)

Very interesting figure. It was cool to see you trying out some more extreme lighting on this one - definately a big change. The technique was great, very smooth and super clean as always. It's a really interesting pose on the base as well, with the pipe - I like that very much, cool original idea, which makes for a much more interesting scene.

Thanks guys.

@paintbrushturkey

The head and all the other components (except the severed head) are from the Dire Avengers box set. I cut off the crest of the helmet and reshaped the top with a file. I also modified the face plate by removing plastic from the cheek areas.
