Well today I have something little special for the Oz Painters folks, the Limited Edition GD Orc Boss, Tag-Team painted by Kyle and Alex, so I guess you could say I was painted by Kyle Murray.. or KyleMuz.. but yeah, it was painted by Both of us.

I really didnt paint much of it, I did the Orc Skin, and his little tabbard thing with the scales. and the face. the rest was painted by Muz. I really like the blood he did, and the sheild on the back is very cool.

Also this is a very important moment here for Al, as it is actually a painted model by him!!!! :P Yes, ladies and gentlemen.... he can actually paint.

Altough it probably took him months to finish it......

Cheers

:o The GD orc boss from Eastgardens! Haha great job you two, but as you guys said to me at the store you should of entered it at Emperors Chosen under the name of Kyle Murray or Alex Morgan haha. Mad stuff :).

hey what a coincidence - I am painting this exact same model at the moment, as a commission job! Weird haha...plus I have similar colour choices hehe, oh dear, looks like I amk going to be called a copier when I post mine :P

Looks good guys. The purple in the skin looks good - maybe it could use a little extra light. The metals look good - I love the little dudes's helmet :D The blood, what I would say, is that it usually loooks better if it is spread a bitmore thin, ie., not over the whole edges of the blade, but only a trail on part of it, you know? A bit more subtle.

But good one guys :)

Hehehe. I like this cos I can critise my own model... :P

Yes the blood... I think the colours and transperency, thinkness etc. is good, but like Seb said, the spread looks wrong. But blame it on Al! :P

Yeah the skin should have been a lot lighter, but I left for the Uk and didnt get to finish it, so I guess that was my fault, I was going to add some more colours to the face, but all in all, I think its not bad for 2 hours painting in the store whilst serving people..

Hee hee, I went a bit overboard with the blood on the blade didn't I?
It was a bit of an experiment with water effects and different inks, and since I'd mixed up such a large amount it seemed a shame to waste it! I'm most happy with the effect on his left boot (looks like he's been kerb stompin' pansy elves all day long). But I ran out of time to do it on the rock underneath the boot, something I should go back and fix (also the edge of the base looks a bit rough in those pics). Great to hear you're doing one too Sebastian, just don't post pics as they'll make Kyle and I look crap :)

and it only took me about a week on and off smartass...
