Further details:

Pins were an essential part of medieval dress. Used to attach head coverings, removable pieces like sleeves and keep Hats and headgear in place, they were also used as decorations, particularly in the later 15th and 16th Century.

Each pin is a unique jewel. Natural stones vary in their colour and opaque stones such as agates and marble, are valued for the patterns of coloured veins running through each piece. All stones are natural and untreated (unless otherwise noted) and of A grade or above quality.

Period: 1400 - 1500 AD, 1500 - 1600 AD, 1600 - 1700 AD
