Spoon, Horn

These spoons have a straight handle and "fig" shaped bowl which is perfect for the later Middle Ages, Renaissance and even up to the early 18th century. 

Approx. 18 cm long. These pieces are all handcrafted from cow horn, the plastic of the Middle Ages. Coloring will vary widely as shown due to the nature of the material.

PLEASE NOTE: Horn is a natural material and can be damaged by prolonged exposure to extreme heat and/or moisture. We recommend using horn spoons only with warm or cool substances, not hot. Not dishwasher safe, please hand wash.

Period: 1100 - 1200 AD, 1200 - 1300 AD, 1300 - 1400 AD, 1400 - 1500 AD, 1500 - 1600 AD, 1600 - 1700 AD
