These sturdy steel trivets are hand forged by Cracked Anvil Forge in Brisbane, Australia. They have a rust resistant blued finish and a light dressing of oil.

Trivets are stands for a wood or charcoal fire which hold pots and pans above the heat. A trivet stabilises round bottom pots and allows the fire to be tended without moving pots off the heat.
