Powder Douce Spice Blend

A sweet gentle blend of spices, matured over a minimum of 12 months to enhance the melding of the different elements. Blends such as these were kept in bottles in every medieval kitchen.

Wonderful sprinkled on coffee or hot chocolate, as a spice mix for baking such as muffins and cakes, and to add a special note to dishes such as the fruit mixtures fillings for pies and tarts.

Ingredients; sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, mace, rose water.

Please contact us for larger volumes - we make a set amount each year and sell in 100g batches in glass jars. Once a batch runs out however, we do not release a young batch until it has had fully 12 months to mature.
