Every part of the lavender plant had a purpose in the medieval household that more than warranted its prominent location in every medieval gardens. Its wonderful fragrance meant it was a staple in pot pourris, as strewing herbs, as a gentle pesticide, as an aide to soothe headaches, and in sweet satchets to enable peaceful sleep - and thats to name a few! 

This dried lavender mix includes the flower buds and leaves; perfect for pot pourri and sweet satchets. It is not for culinary use since it has not been grown in the specialsed conditions that would ensure that all elements are pefectly chemical free.
