Further details:

A striking design derived from the amazing strands of gemstones and pearls worn by such notable Renaissance beauties as Mary of Burgundy. In this version I have used 4mm aventurine, a form of quartz with a beautiful green translucent colour, and 4mm white fresh water rice pearls (AA+ grade).

The stones are strung and hand knotted on 100% silk as a single stranded loop with the addition of sterling silver S hook and loop integral to the loop. This enables the wearer the choice of wearing the strand as a single opera length strand or as a shorter matinee double strand.
