Greeting gentle readers,
November has arrived and already the Festive season is looming on the horizon. Among the new title offerings this month we are proud to have ‘Textiel in context: An analysis of archaeological textile finds from 16th century Groningen’. This is a text written in Dutch however, the detailed images of the archaeological finds and a summary of each chapter in English make this a must have for the textile student. Restocks of Stuart Press have also arrived along with new titles in the ‘Clothes of the Common People in Elizabethan and Early Stuart England.’
A bevy of new reenactment items have also arrived including steel shears and bone thread winders. Restocks of re-enactment items have also arrived including the wax tablets with bone stylus; fire lighting kits and wooden Thread Reels. Unfortunately, the zigzag towels are still unavailable however, we will keep trying.
We will also be introducing an automated gift voucher system in time for the Festive season. In the interim please feel free to email us if you would like to purchase one.
Until next time we bid you all, good reading.
Paul and Loreena
